We spent Thanksgiving with Brett's mom's side of the family...all 62 of us packed into a Bible Camp (with cabins and a mess hall to boot)!
Pecan/Pumpkin crunch cake, and puppy chow!
He was most excited about the latter since he got to "clean the bowl" as a reward at the end of our mess! Oh my...
We left early Thanksgiving morning, since Brett and I both had to work that Wednesday. We had some pretty cute travelers to keep up awake!
Once there, the girl cousins had a grand ole time playing and cheering on the outdoor events,
While the boys played football and basketball
Later that afternoon, we were treated to a talent show by some of the great-grandkids...I think we have some aspiring stars in the family!
And Jameston got right up there with the girls...and sang "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" in front of everyone! I was surprised that he didn't get nervous...and I may have shed a couple of tears...so blessed by that boy!
And this boy, too! Blake had fun playing with all the "new-to-him" baby toys!
Jameston taking it all in...
Most of the 23 great-grands were able to make it. We missed the Smiths who are in Ireland as missionaries right now.
There was a lot of b-balling and footballing and volleyballing...even in the field house at night! It was perfect weather to be outside!
What is a Turnbough family gathering without some 42 or 84? Jameston just had fun "building forts" with Granny
Not as many pictures as I had hoped to take! You can definitely tell the years I have a baby on my hip by how little pictures I have to show for our fun holiday gathers :-)
