We had one fun, very busy weekend. It all began on Friday, my day off. Cousin Aspen joined us for the afternoon while my sis had to work. At just over three months apart in age, I predict these kiddos are going to have LOTS of fun in their future!
"Can you hear my now?"
Pretty girl:
Friday night we headed out to Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie for Brett's company's "End-of-Busy-Season" event. Although Brett's not quite out of the woods yet with his hectic schedule, it was nice to celebrate, as a family, his hard work.
So sweet!
Jameston is OBSESSED with horses and proudly exclaimed, "Nay!" probably 50 times while we were there. He was also the center of attention with all of Brett's co-workers. We learned that night that our little boy can sure ham it up!!
My boys
Then Saturday we headed out to Royse City to see the other local Winters' family. The ladies played volleyball while the guys grilled out. The kids had fun running around, playing on the swing set and being pulled in a wagon by the tractor. Good times! We were too busy chasing them around outside to get any pictures :-(
Big cousin love from Riley before we headed home
So precious!
Maddox, Riley's cousin on her Mommy's side, loves having another little boy around
After church on Sunday we headed to the Arboretum. We enjoyed Sonic burgers (and a cherry Coke Zero for me) and the beautiful scenery and weather! My kind of afternoon :-)
Sporting his Sponge Bob band-aid. He reopened the cut above his eye while going down the slide on Saturday afternoon. Poor guy, but he did a great job keeping the band-aid on (Mommy had to wear one on her face so that he would, too :-)
Melts my heart...
JW attempting to smell the flowers. Such a boy!

The best shot of several...love my lil guy!
He was too distracted by the bunny to look forward...
Although it was close to nap time, he ran all over the place. We could hardly contain him long enough for a picture!
As of Sunday we decided that summer has officially arrived! Because it was such a hot day, Jameston got to ride home in his birthday suit (plus diaper) and enjoyed some of Daddy's Strawberry Limeade.
We had such a wonderful weekend, it was SO hard to return to work on Monday :-( Brett also spoiled me with cooking dinner on Sunday night, going to the grocery store with the little guy while my mom, sis and I enjoyed a movie that afternoon, and he and Jamseton made some home-made cards. He even taught JW how to say, "Happy Mommy Day!" Over the last several months I have really realized just how blessed I am to be a mom. I wish every day was Mother's Day with my guys!
