Before they left town, they hit up Bass Pro Shop, where JW posed with Papa and took a stationary spin in one of the show boats :-)
They also picked up Ruby and Riley and kept them for the week. Awesome times and memories for these three!
On the road again...
On Sunday after church, they went to Krause Springs to check out the 32 springs and both man-made and natural spring pools.
JW can recommend that it's a great place to take a good nap!
That week, we were told that Jameston and Ruby had some sharing difficulties. Since there were two brooms, there probably wasn't a "Mine" spat during this picture:
Also that week, they had fun modeling hats,
playing in the pool,
building in the sand box,
and JW had a grand ole time on the scooter and with the blocks Papa made for him!
He lived the good life and got a home-made smoothie almost every day
Can't resist a good photo-op!
Riding back to Dallas with JW in his carseat and the girls in their boosters.
Cousin love!
Gotta love these tow-headed cuties, especially in their Hawaiian print outfits!
That Sunday JW kept saying, "Mommy and Daddy. Airport. Mala (for Guatemala)!" Here he is waiting and watching with Papa
Reunited!! We were SO READY to get back home to our sweet boy!
I think he was happy to see us, too :-)
We probably missed him more than he missed us, but we don't want to leave him for that long again anytime soon!
At 22 weeks, Wendy was already the size many women are for a full-term pregnancy for a singleton. And with the excitement and subsequent anxiety, she still seems to have it all together!
We will join forces again in the coming months and head out to Abilene when those sweet baby girls make their arrival! Her doctor is hoping she makes it to 30 weeks, but Wendy plans to do everything she can to get to 35. We are praying for her and RJ as they gear up for their newest additions. Love you guys and can't wait to meet your little ones!
